I guess I am specifically asking if there is a delay from when my 1099-B is available on Merrill Lynch to when I can actually directly import it into TurboTax.

Today is Feb. 16th 2021 and I have access to my 1099-B on Merrill Lynch but I am not able to import that form directly into TurboTax, only 1099-DIV & 1099-INT. Thoughts?

Are you getting a specific error message?

Please see this Help Article on how to fix a 1099 import issue. The instructions mention Charles Schwab, but this is for example purposes.
