Using the TurboTax online editions you will need to upgrade to the Self-Employed edition to report the self-employment income and expenses on a Schedule C.  The Schedule C is included with and part of your personal tax return, Form 1040.

See this TurboTax support FAQ for SE income - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/self-employed/help/how-do-i-report-income-from-self-employment/01/...

Under the Income and Expense section select Show More next to Self-Employment, click start, select her name then walk through the steps to enter her freelance income.

You will need to use TurboTax Self-Employment or Home and Business to enter this.
