I'm consulting (self-employed) for a MA company but am a full time resident of WA state. All consulting is taking place over zoom calls from WA state. Do I need to pay MA state income tax on the amount earned from this MA company?

Because your "business" is technically located in WA you do not have to file a MA tax return. Your state taxes are based on where the income is earned and not where the source of the payment comes from.
