“Tax Year 2024 transmissions are not available”

Well I don't know if this is going to work or not, I went ahead and worked through it once again and the same message as last night came up just saying a software update would be released today.  Didn't say if it had been applied or anything and let me continue on through to transmit so I transmitted the MN return and now it's pending.  Still get to stare at the rejected attempt on my dashboard which is annoying.

So no idea if this is the end or not, for all I know it gets rejected again tomorrow night.  TurboTax clearly didn't say the software had been fixed but clearly didn't stop me from attempting to transmit, so I just went ahead and did it.  Guess we will see.

I live in Oklahoma and I am getting this same frustrating pop up message. It does not give me a list of any forms that have not been finalized, all my attachments and forms are there for submittal, and I have updated Turbo Tax software and re-downloaded the Oklahoma State Tax electronic filing software. I checked and Oklahoma says it is accepting returns as of January 29, 2025, but I tried again today and the same message appears. TURBO TAX ARE YOU LISTENING TO THESE COMPAINTS?

I received an email stating my MN taxes were rejected also. I logged in to resubmit and TT said they had to update their software for MN forms. It let me resubmit everything and at around 11pm last night I got a notification that my MN return was accepted.

My MN return has been accepted now.  Finally done for good.

I e-filed yesterday, but it was rejected with the same code. I tried today, but I can't do it from TurboTax.

Good for you! Did you refile even though the xml_valudation error was still there? I have a green checkmark but I'm nervous about refiling and getting another rejection! Thanks for any info!

After my MN State return got rejected on 1/29 due to the TT software I immediately sent it back through, and now still "pending" again. I'm hoping that it gets accepted this time but still waiting...

I was able to re-submit yesterday and they were accepted late last night! hope thats the same case for everyone.

• I'm getting this error in Missouri. And they have no idea why.  The help sucks to resolve this issue.

Some Missouri forms, expecially Kansas City forms or some people who paid tax in 2 states and need Form MO-CR, are not yet ready.   Check out the Missouri forms availability with this tool:

Yes, that seems to be exactly what is happening to me... I attempted to e-file my federal return, MO state return, and Kansas City RD-109 for Taxpayer return and received the "Success!" checkmark followed by "Tax Year 2024 transmissions are not available."  Using the link provided in the TurboTax Help TurboTax Link , I found out that the Kansas City RD-109 won't be available for e-file until 2025-02-27 (today is February 16).

So I will put it in my calendar, and try again after February 27!

February 27th and I still am getting the same "Tax Year 2024 transmissions are not available." error. Any luck transmitting yet?
