Hi,
I am three months pregnant. Is there any tax credit for pregnancy?
Thanks

No, there is no tax credit for pregnancy. When your child is born and you prepare a tax return for 2021 NEXT YEAR you can claim your child as a dependent on your tax return.
Thanks, @xmasbaby0
you can not take a tax credit until the year the baby is born.
The child requires a social security number and that can't be issued without a birth date ; and this has nothing to do with the tax date of April 15.
It has to do with the calendar year. Children born after 12/31/20 cannot be claimed on the 2020 tax return.
Children born in 2021 can be claimed on their parents 2021 tax return which is due on April 15, 2022.
make sense?
You can get that benefits if you do preserve your baby's cord blood stem cell to protect your baby's from incurable disease in the future. If you want it you can take it from. It is really important for every human being. So that you can get tax credit for your pregnancy.
@appie12 Not sure what you are talking about. There is no federal tax credit for being pregnant. In order to get a tax credit, your child must be born and have a Social Security number. Then you can claim your child as a dependent on a tax return in order to get child-related tax credits. The link you included in your post has nothing to do with getting tax credit.
