Substantial Gainful Activity

My adult developmentally disabled son earned $5500 in 2024 at Lowe's watering plants. He worked with a job coach and I believe this is Lowe's way of giving back to the community by employing persons with such disabilities. Is this considered substantial gainful activity for tax purposes? Thank you.
