Skip Stimulus Check section in TurboTax for new RA not eligible for this

I am an RA for tax purposes for 2020 thus started to use TurboTax for the first time to file my tax. I had no income in 2019 thus did not file last time, so I believe I would not be eligible for stimulus checks. I would like to skip this section in the TurboTax questionnaire and simply receive my federal tax refund. How should I skip this question to avoid the amount added to my return? Should I just enter the full amount (1200 and 600) even though I did not receive any checks?

Eligibility is based on your 2020 tax return information so you would be eligible.

Generally, if you were a U.S. citizen or U.S. resident alien in 2020, were not a dependent of another taxpayer and have a Social Security number that is valid for employment, you are eligible for the Recovery Rebate Credit.  Your credit amount will be reduced if your adjusted gross income (AGI) is more than:

  • $150,000 if married and filing a joint return or filing as a qualifying widow or widower
  • $112,500 if filing as head of household or
  • $75,000 for eligible individuals filing as a single or as married filing separately.

You should indicate that you did not receive any payments.
