TurboTax changed calculations in 2023.
I own (and reside in) a multi-family. I entered $X as repair expenses in 2023, and Y% as renter occupancy.
Differently than prior years, TurboTax as entered Schedule E Line 14 Repairs as $X * Y%, rather than $X.
My intent is to enter Line 14 as $X. Please consider restoring this calculation to be consistent with prior years.

This "change" is also affecting the bottom line for Homeowners Insurance Premiums and Real Estate Taxes.
To try to help you solve this issue, it would be useful to have a diagnostic copy of your tax data file. The diagnostic file will not contain personally identifiable information, only numbers related to your tax forms. If you would like to provide us with the diagnostic file, follow the instructions below and post the token number along with which version of TurboTax you are using and what states you are filing in a follow-up thread.
Use these steps if you are using TurboTax Online:
If you are using a CD/downloaded version of TurboTax, use these steps:
If you prefer to not share your diagnostic tax file, my recommendation is to double-check all of your entries in the Property Profile section of the Rental Income and Expenses section to be sure that they are the same for 2023 as they were for 2022.
