Returns accepted, Fed payment withdrawn from bank. State payment (AL) not yet withdrawn from bank. Any idea when state will debit account?

Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.

I suspected as much. I am concerned that the State has not withdrawn payment yet

You should have one e-mail from the IRS/Fed stating that your return was accepted, and a completely separate e-mail from the state stating that your state return was accepted. If you have both, you're good to go.

the only way to find out is to contact the state department of revenue.

Thank you, both accepted. Sounds strange but I wish they would take it already.
