Received $2 interest from bank, but no 1099-INT. Where do I find a FEIN for bank?

How do I enter bank interest without a 1099?

Don't enter the bank name and don't try to import it.  

It is just as fast and easy to manually enter it.  When you enter a 1099 the first screen is How to Enter, by Import or Enter it Myself. Scroll down and click the last circle to enter it myself.

All you need to enter is the bank name or who paid you and put the amount in box 1.

Enter interest received like a 1099-Int under

Federal Taxes tab

Wages & Income

Interest and Dividends

Interest on 1099INT - Click the Start or Update button

Put the interest amount in box 1
