Hello,
I work remotely for an Oklahoma company while being based in New York. This is the first year I've worked for a company in another state. This tax season I received a W-2 with two pages.
All of the numbers on both pages from boxes (1-14) are the same. There are differences for boxes (15-17) between statements.
The first page has the TOTAL STATE Income Tax in box 17.
The first page also has the New York State Wage in box 16 and a State Income Tax in box 17.
The second page has the Oklahoma State Wage in box 16 and a State Income Tax in box 17.
When I enter the information into TurboTax's Federal Tax W2 section, should I enter the state, state wage and state income tax information for both New York and Oklahoma?
Will I not be entering the TOTAL STATE income tax?

You will enter a single W-2 with two lines in the state section reporting the NY information and the Oklahoma information.
After you enter the first state, click the blue box Add another state to enter your second state.
Do not enter the information reported on your W-2 for Total State.
Hi Annette,
Thank you very much.
Best.
