NY resident working remotely for OK company
Hello,
I work remotely for an Oklahoma company while being based in New York. This is the first year I've worked for a company in another state. This tax season I received a W-2 with two pages.
All of the numbers on both pages from boxes (1-14) are the same. There are differences for boxes (15-17) between statements.
The first page has the TOTAL STATE Income Tax in box 17.
The first page also has the New York State Wage in box 16 and a State Income Tax in box 17.
The second page has the Oklahoma State Wage in box 16 and a State Income Tax in box 17.
When I enter the information into TurboTax's Federal Tax W2 section, should I enter the state, state wage and state income tax information for both New York and Oklahoma?
Will I not be entering the TOTAL STATE income tax?
