figuring out withholding can be cumbersome. the new w-4 is a bit different than in the past, there is no longer a spot where you claim exemptions. My suggestion is you use our tax calculator and project the taxdue /or refund.

note follow the screens will ask you for your current wages, ytd income tax withholdings/ withholdings per paycheck etc. at the end , the summary will allow you to adjust withholdings to give the projected refund. A great tool to correctly withhold on the w-4.
