Hi there - if you are currently have no taxes taken out of your paycheck you can update your W-4 to add additional withholding to allow your paychecks to start having federal taxes deducted. If you utilize the IRS estimator tool this will assist you in determining how much withholding you should have reduced from your check. The great thing about the estimator is it will assist you in including not one your work income but also your SS income as well. Below is the link to utilize the IRS tool.

Please make sure once you update your W-4 that this does get submitted back to your employer for them to make the changes!
Again thank you so much for being part of the event today!

Do they take other taxes out like Social Security and Medicare? Do you get a W2 for it or will get a 1099? They might be paying you as a independent contractor.
