New Job

I just started a W-2 job and my husband has a W-2 job as well. I also am a Realtor and will continue that work. How will my taxes change this year? I just filled out my W-4 using the chart and hope I did it correctly.

Hi katlynnmeier,

 

I think one of the most important considerations based on your question is to be sure you have all W-2's in hand before filing.  Missing one would necessitate an amendment, or worse, a notice from the IRS. 

 

Additionally, you should review the form W-4 instructions and be sure you filled them out correctly for the new employers:
