My e-file return was rejected 3 times, so I have to file by mail. As part of the rejected e-file, I gave the information for my payment through my bank account to be w/drawn on 3/25. I now have to file by mail. Will the IRS take my payment as per my prior e-file information, or should I include a check with my return?
The IRS will do the bank debit, provided the bank account information is listed on your return. Look on your form 1040, lines 21 (b) and 21 (d).
