My tax return for 2021 shows I owe money to the IRS. When and how will this payment be executed/paid? During tax preparation I gave authorization to debit my bank acct?

If you already E-filed your return, funds are usually withdrawn on the payment date you specify in TurboTax, assuming your e-filed return has already been accepted (received) by the IRS. If that date falls on a weekend or federal holiday, the funds are typically withdrawn the next business day.

To see the account, routing number and date for the direct debit, it should be printed on your return.

** If the check boxes are checked "NO" and your banking information is not displayed on the Information Worksheet, then the direct debit was not successful.
