It depends.
If you have no income, it sounds like you are a non-filer. It also sounds like you are in the tax preparation software if you are being asked to upgrade.
Have you already filed using the stimulus registration software or non-filer portal with the IRS to submit your information? If so, you should not do anything else.
If you have not, please use the link below to register for your stimulus payment. Be sure to use the correct link depending upon whether you are a tax return filer or non-filer.

Stimulus payment questions and answers from the IRS
Thank you for your response. Yes, I am a non-filer. Thus, I tried using the non-filer portal, and submitted my information. I was rejected, however, with code IND-025-02, saying that Identifying Information on my or my (nonexistent) spouse’s tax return was incorrect. But, again, I had no return that could be incorrect. So, I tried to fix it in the portal, which won’t work (I hit Revisit and Review and it just sends me right back to the page with the rejection code on it), and it eventually sent me to try to now file a return. Where I am now being told I need a $60 upgrade (which I can in no way afford) because I “have miscellaneous taxable income (or loss)”. Which I don’t, and which I noted.
