Tax Year Prior to 2020: My cycle code is 20200505. What does this mean? And I found it on my tax transcript for 2019

My cyle code is 20200705 and it says my received date is April 15.....what in the world does that mean?

I did not get my taxes done by these so called experts. I went to the same person I’ve been going to for years. Has any one seen a change? Mine still says they have received my return and are processing it.

Check your transcript it will show your update, otherwise check wmr Saturday morning

Why are you rude? I have a friend who works for the irs she said that the cycle date does not mean day of the week it means the week from the day they began accepting returns. So they opened 1/27/2020 and say your cycle is 20200505, it means that you should see a change the 5 th week from opening of e-filing. So that is next week. She said they’ve even been working on weekends

Yup my transcripts updated this morning and WMR will update tomorrow but my transcript has 846 code and my DDD of February 26. I been telling ppl cycle code 20200505 is feb 26th and that’s exactly when it is

@touigivethnx  What does your transcript say? Because my friend and I both have the same Cycle Code as you and she said her transcript says As of March 9, 2020 but near the cycle date is says as of Feb 27, 2020.

She is worried she won't have her refund by the 4th of March when she needs it. 

I told her that is probably the date they will put in WMR about "if you don't receive your refund by this date"

My transcripts updated around 5:30 this morning with an 846 for 2/26.

mine now say the refund deposit date is 2/26
