Tax Year Prior to 2020: My cycle code is 20200505. What does this mean? And I found it on my tax transcript for 2019

The code 570 does not mean you’re being audited there’s a whole different code for if your return was pulled for review and if it actually stays an audit by 70 is a code that you used her individual circumstances for Panthers it means because of the extra credits for someone else it may be either waiting for proof of something 570 is not a cookie cutter code it is based on the individual situation... 420 is the code for if your return is poured for examination an audit now with that being said if you were audited with a code 570 that just means that pertain to your situation a full on worry about it audit code is four 2570 is way too open ended of a code to assume it’s going to be an audit 570 could be multiple things depending on the actual filer situation itself

Code 570 doesn't mean audit.  It typically means there a hold on your return due to money you owe to a government agency or something, ie.... back child support, defaulted student loan, unpaid state taxes, etc.  I had a friend have that code last year from her student loan being in default. They applied her entire refund to her student loan debt.  My exhusband lost his entire refund for two years to pay towards catching up on his child support.

Yeah this is incorrect from the other posts on here this starts to count January 1 but you can count that it had to be the date filing opened from what others are stating on here. Ugh I wish it was more clear!

I have the same on my transcript also. 20200505 with 2/17/20 and processing date also has the same date.

The Path on hold message is gone!  So hopefully we will be getting a deposit date soon!

My information for this years taxes is also "unavailable at this time" on IRS transcript website, which its been there since taxes were accepted.

Same here mine just states it’s being processed. But my tax record says processed 2/17/2020 so hopefully tomorrow it will change
