Miscellaneous Income section is broken

When I attempt to access the Miscellaneous section, I am unable to enter anything as it closes and displays a "I think we have hit a snag" window with "we recommend you revisit the last section...", but never works. Occurs if I walk through all and definitely when I select "Other Income not reported on a w-2 or from 1099".

Miscellaneous Income section is broken

Try clearing your cache and deleting your cookies This usually resolves looping errors.

Miscellaneous Income section is broken

I just tried entering some income items in that section in TurboTax Desktop and did not experience any error messages.

 

  • Try logging out of the program, restarting your device, and logging back in.
  • Also, try selecting Online at the top bar menu and then Check for Updates. Allow the program to install any available updates if indicated.
