Last year I entered my business' income manually. This year I used square so I have a 1099k. Can I choose to not report/upload my 1099k and just input my income manually?

I own a farm and sell at farmers markets along with other venues. Some of my sales are on square and some aren't. I'd find it the easiest to not use the 1099k at all and just enter everything manually in the categories that turbotax offers. I did this last year and found this easy and thorough. But I'm not sure if I have that option. Do need to report the 1099k or can I just do it the way I did last year before I had a 1099k?

No, you do need to report the 1099-K in TurboTax assuming it is reported under your social security number or EIN. The 1099-K tracks income that you received through a third-party payment method that is reported to the IRS. To ensure that the IRS knows that you reported the income, you should enter the 1099-K. Please review the TurboTax Help article How do I enter a 1099-K received as self-employment income in TurboTax Online?

Another resource for additional information is Form 1099-K Decoded for the Self-Employed.
