The sum of all form W-2s must not be greater than the sum of [WagesSalariesAnd TipsAmt in the return and (sum of all schedule C (Form 1040), TotalGrossReceiptsAmt when StatutoryEmployeeFromW2Ind is checked) unless Form 8958 or Form 8839 is present in the return. When evaluating this, a tolerance of $5.00 is allowed.

is box 13 statutory employee checked on your actual w-2?  if not go back to the Turbotax W-2 and uncheck the box.  if it is checked on the actual w-2 you need to link the w-2 to a schedule C. during the interview process of entering the w-2 you come to a question about statutory employment. from there you can create the schedule C unless it's there from last year then you can link it.  if none types of employment apply the box should not have been checked and you should request a corrected w-2 from your employer.
