We are the customer.
We provided all the information required to file state taxes; in my case, Colorado.
If the state was not ready at the time of filing, it would be up to TurboTax to file for the customer when the state is ready. Otherwise, don't make the customer fill out all the state tax information, just to find out weeks later that TurboTax just sat idle with the data without filing it for you. Simple customer service. Or at the very least, send the customer an email/text message reminding them that TurboTax has not file your state tax return and that you need to log back in to submit it. Close the loop; don't let it become delinquent.
