Is there anything new from IRS regarding unemployment income for 2020?

Should I file an amended return if I have already filed and paid taxes due, and I had unemployment income which means I should get a refund?

The IRS has said that they will recalculate the returns with self employment and send the calculated refund to the taxpayers affected.

The IRS has asked all taxpayers NOT to file an amended return, to redo the Unemployment Benefits Exclusion.  They will begin processing refunds in May.
