Is there a way to stop the Turbo Tax requests to upgrade every few pages?

Nope ... but if you have a Sch C to enter then you must upgrade to the SE version.   

 

Now if you qualify to use one of the IRS FREE FILE options you can wait for that program to open in January.

IRS Free File is closed for the 2020 tax season. Check back in January for Filing Season 2021 opening details.

For Filing Season 2021, you must make $72,000 or below to use IRS Free File partner offers.

 

 

 

Or convert to one of the downloaded versions... you can use the DELUXE for everything ( Basic if you don't need a state return).

Sorry, No way to do so when using the Online software.   The worst of them happen during your initial startup and the first time thru the interview....but they'll be there at some level, interminably....

 

Desktop software has historically offered few such annoyances....but I haven't yet bought/started desktop this year as I will only install it after it's gone thru a number of updates... (hope I can resist until early January )
