Yes. You can round up your 2022 estimated tax payments to the next $1, $10, or $100.
To round up your 2022 estimated tax payments (1040-ES vouchers), please follow the steps below:
The solution doesn't work. Why do I need to go through answering pages and pages of input as suggested in your response #3 if these amounts will be the same as 2021? There should just be one screen that allows you to round. I give up.
You can just mark through the amount shown on the estimated tax payment sheet and enter the rounded number you want to pay. The IRS does not get the information printed on the estimated tax payment sheets until you mail the sheets with your payment. Or you can ignore the printed sheets and use IRS Direct Pay to pay whatever estimated tax you choose directly to the IRS.
Thanks for your answer Texas Roger. You are basically saying to ignore the TurboTax estimated tax vouchers. It seems that Turbo Tax should have an easy way to allow you to round up estimated taxes and produce accurate vouchers that can be submitted ( Note: I have the same issue for state estimated payments.) But since they apparently don't have an easy way to do this, I will use your approach.
