Is PA updated with the American Rescue Plan?

When I tried to file my 2020 PA return on April 15, it said to wait for a TurboTax update for the American Rescue Plan. The message said that I would receive an email from TurboTax with instructions when the update was ready.

So I waited, and now it's May 12 and still no email from Turbo Tax. 

Well, I ran the program and it updated PA. So is it ready now? How can I tell?

How much more confusing can things get this year?

Please help! I don't want to file my taxes and then have to amend later.

Yes, it has been a very difficult year for tax filing.  If you have not filed your 2020 tax return, yet, TurboTax is up to date with the new law and will guide you on how to claim these additional unemployment benefits on your tax return. If you already filed your 2020 tax return, you do not need to do anything to get these additional unemployment benefits.

I did not collect unemployment because I remained self-employed throughout the pandemic. 

So I am guessing there is nothing for me to claim? I guess I will just go ahead and e-file now.

If you did not enter any unemployment information, there might not be any changes on your state return.  For other state related reliefs from the American Rescue Plan, TurboTax calculations are correct and up-to-date for Pennsylvania.  To verify with your state, click here:  Your state
