Has anyone confirmed that any of the other desktop software options, such as HR Block Taxcut, have the 8915-F form available to e-file? It's not listed on their available forms page.
The desktop availability now indicates Mar 2 - Is the form available to e-file using Turbotax online today?
It now says 3/2/23
When I was completing my returns on 2/13, TurboTax provided 2/23 for the date. Something told me to call a few days ago to confirm it would be ready and then I was advised 3/2. I said last year that I wasn’t going to with them again because of this exact same reason. To make it worse, they’re trying to blame it on the IRS. I told them the form is ready, they just don’t have the proper software update to download it.
You can look up when forms will be available on this TTax page (Tax Form Availability): https://form-status.app.intuit.com/tax-forms-availability/formsavailability?albRedirect=true&product...
I cannot fathom why the hell it takes this long to make a freaking form available. Now it’s March 2nd, don’t hold your breath.
Oh it’s there, but you cannot file.
I don't think it is processing the info. When I put my info in it says my income needs review again.
Apparently now moved to 3-2-23
I spoke with a TurboTax representative because I couldn't E- file my taxes because the form was not available yet. He told me that it wouldn't be released until March the 2nd.
The questions are there but it won't work. Mine kept routing me back saying I needed to review it again. I ended up going with a different company. I grew tired of once again waiting. And ironically the refund was the exact same as the Turbo Tax amount. So they can tell you how much your refund is, but you can't file with TT until they release the form.
Now they are saying March 9, 2023!!! WTF??
I sure hope this isn’t the case!! I knew we shouldn’t have given TurboTax another chance after this crap happened last year!
What company did you end up going to?
