I stopped using Turbo Tax 4 years ago but continued to use their It's Deductible tool. I pulled away because over the 14+ years, using the Premier version of Turbo Tax which included rental information, Turbo Tax never directed me to take/declare a depreciation on my proper. Thousands of dollars down the drain with no accountability from Turbo Tax for their mistake. I wonder how many other victims are out there because of this glitch. Full confirmation today that I made the right decision to pull away when I did. They're going to lose a lot of loyal customers with this recent act of cowardness.

So, you're not currently a paying customer of Intuit but you're lodging a complaint that you can no longer use one of their programs free of charge? Nice!
Yep!
😎
it's a mystery why they would shut this down and risk losing these zero revenue customers
Seriously, it's comical. If you missed the Depreciation section, that's on you. That is why Turbo lists all categories as you conduct your deductions. I've used the Depreciation section for rental for years as has my dad on his rental without any issue, so I would say it's more you failed to review the sections.

Concur, 100%, and it just goes to demonstrate that there are DIY income tax prep software users who should NOT be using DIY income tax prep software.
In the case of TurboTax, of course there are software issues, but the vast majority are simply user error.
