InstallTurbotax.com actually reroutes to that address, so no, it doesn't work.
I can get to https://turbotax.intuit.com/
I tried on a 3rd browser. No luck.
Then there has to be something local on your system to prevent you from accessing the website. Turn off virus and malware protection. Turn off VPN if you are using. Use incognito mode or use Safe mode.
DuckDuckGo.com worked for me, without issue. It was the 4th browser I tried, ridiculous imo.
Safari, Chrome, Edge-all failed w clearing Cache/Cookies, reboot, vpn/no vpn, private/incognito x3
.
I thought I had a memory/graphics issue because, a 4th browser? Hours later, frustrated, Hail Mary-no expectations, duckduck immediately loaded the redirect from the InstallTTX.com, done.
*I have no idea if this info is relevant for a patch, or if intuit uses this for product improvement, # users affected, etc. If so: I'm on a Mac intel Sonoma 14. Back to work. Good luck all!
In addition to doing everying everyone else has suggested ... I ended up disabling MS Defender to access the webpage ... that did the trick.
Install and use the DuckDuckGo browser with default settings. Didn't have to mess with antivirus or VPN.
But TurboTax should fix this, even though I know they won't.
I had the same issue, and tried everything listed here ... still didnt work. Then I stopped 'MS Defender' and that fixed it ... seems microsoft sees that particular turbotax webpage as a security risk.
I had the same problem and have Nord VPN (has some similar issues with some other sites with Nord being the cause so I suspected it in this case). Disconnecting from VPN did not solve the issue but disabling both "Advanced browsing protection" and "Ad and tracker blocker" did fix it. Found out that installturbotax.com as well as https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/install-turbotax/ works fine with VPN connected, just not with "Advanced browsing protection" and "Ad and tracker blocker" enabled.
Thanks for the information you provided.
Another solution is to install the DuckDuckGo web browser. I was able to get the InstallTurboTax.com link to work in Windows 10 using the DuckDuckGo browser. I also use DuckDuckGo when I have issue with Chrome or MS Edge. Give it a try.
I to had Nord, I had already disabled to VPN but still couldn't see the download page. Stopping the Ad Blocker and Advanced and the Anti Malware immediately made the page available and I downloaded the file, I will now restart those three functions,
Genuinely, how has this not been fixed yet? This was posted over a month ago...what a garbage product!
