Illinois Tax Forms

I need to print an Illinois tax return, but in Turbotax Deluxe it says "Your Illinois return(s) is currently unavailable to view, print, or download because some of the forms haven't been finalized yet."  I checked the Illinois Department of Revenue and all forms are finalized. Previous questions about this have been answered with a requirement to download "TTDHotfixApp.zip" I am not comfortable with this solution.  Will TurboTax be fixing this in their software anytime soon?

They don’t seem capable to fix this. They can only give you ways to get around it. They will not reply to when will it be fixed because they can’t fix it.

See the file deletion procedure after the hotfix FAQ section....that might work whether or not you use the Hotfix:

If  Illinois forms are giving you forms not available now...see the following

The Hotfix  is here...and carefully not the extra Update in step 6 before you attempt to re-open her file.

IF that doesn't work...

...delete the following files from the 2018 TurboTax Premier forms folder:

 ilif01.1pe, ilif02.1pe. These forms are dated 12/10/18  Delete the two files   ilif01.1pe, ilif02.1pe   all dated 12/10/18.

  location was C:\Program Files (x86)\TurboTax\Premier 2018\Forms\ili_18 for these

(the "Premier 2018" subdirectory will be Basic, Deluxe or Home & Business if your version is one of the other ones)
