If your return keeps getting rejected due to the Self-Select Pin not matching, this should be able to assist you with correcting it so that you can file your taxes: https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3300702
Nope, that link doesn't answer the question at all. There is no information about correcting the wrong PIN.
The IRS discontinued the use of the e-filing PIN. You will need to use your 2018 Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) instead. See the following link for more information.
I am using my last year's AGI, and also entered driver license info to verify ID, but Turbo Tax is making me enter my PIN as well. I tried leaving the prompt blank and Turbo Tax will not proceed until I enter something in the PIN box. Then the IRS rejects my return for having the wrong PIN. If the IRS is no longer using it, why is Turbo Tax requiring it to be entered?
Is the IRS asking for an Identity Theft PIN or an IP PIN?
What is the exact reject error code or message that you are receiving?
