If I get a new email from turbo tax saying congratulations your refund has processed and is on its way ...is this a generated email or is it really on way

TurboTax can in fact (usually) see if we got our refund before we can publicly view the where’s my refund tool. Not really turbo tax but their third party who actually receives the funds and is the one who disperses them. There’s a possibility of you getting the money before you ever see processed and a date attached. Being accepted is just their way of saying we got it. Then it moved to processing and then approved with a date. Hope that helps anyone feeling stressed about it.

That is true my son's taxes on the IRS website state that it's still processing and he got them today. I don't use TurboTax because it's too much money to file the taxes I used to. I checked the IRS refund to everyday they updated overnight but it stated by February 22nd they should be a date as to when the refund will be sent not sure if that helps but that's the information that I have

That's cause they say that every year and I've never got mine in March always February and I've been a pather since before the path act. They just say that cover their backs in case you don't get it before then. Less calls of people freaking out

You will always get state sooner than federal in most cases. I got my state at about the same time you did. Really shocked me how fast but as far as federal people that claimed dependents will not start seeing payouts till around or after march 3rd

If you have dependents then you will not see a federal return till march 3rd of after. Some people have already received their returns but those are people without dependents

The irs did not officially start accepting tax returns till January 27th so it will not be processed till after the 27th they may have electronically received them but processing is different.

Well 21 days would put you at the 17of February but if you have dependents then it will be processed later than that. That means they may not process eic/ctc till around February 17th as that would put you at 21 days the time starts when they actually process your taxes not when they receive them. Hope this helps.

Gm, I received my state this morning, I have child credits included. I also paid for the 5 days before service. My state was accepted 2/29. My turbo tax does not reflect this info nor did I receive an email advising of anything. It seems like the apps aren't updating and leaving others confused. On my IRS transcript it provided 2 dates the one at the top stated 2/10 and the bottom 2/17. I was not sure what date it will come so I calculated 5 days prior to those days. However as we see nothing is consistent and are just estimates. I hope this helps, I say look out for it soon it seems like alot os people are receiving their refunds earlier that what they stated which was after 2/17. That money is coming to you soon 💛

You can even go check in California for your federal at SBTPG. Its who holds your money for the IRS. Its who collects the fees for TT.

No. It's not on March 3rd. It's by March 3rd. So anywhere between middle of February but by March 3rd if no issues with your refund.

That's not true. I filed with TT. I filed on January 22nd and they were accepted on the 22nd.
