If I get a new email from turbo tax saying congratulations your refund has processed and is on its way ...is this a generated email or is it really on way

Hi there, make sure you are only inputting the federal refund amount and not your total refund amount when on wheres my refund

Not if you're on PATH. It won't be until after the 17th this year, unfortunately.

Oddly enough after posting I received an email giving an update to my returns. 

My return is delayed due to EIC. The email,  basically, is a back tracking to give actual information on an individuals return instead of a generated "Congratulations".

It was once again false advertising. Go figure. That’s why they’re always getting sued. Was super hopeful and have researched for days until this morning I got another email for them saying sorry they didn’t mean to mislead anyone. Which is bs. They knew exactly what they were doing. I’m so upset! My 1st and last time using them. I don’t want a tax app that’s dishonest and gets struggling/in need people hopeful.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but I just received an email apologizing for the previous email saying my refund was on the way. It said it was done in error,and wasn't meant to be sent out . Ugh

Yeah I got it as well and I think it’s completely sht for them to have given anyone false hope .

The issue with this is you have to sit on the website to be “verified” with a rep which no one has 1038 mins to wait it’s dumb
