If I get a new email from turbo tax saying congratulations your refund has processed and is on its way ...is this a generated email or is it really on way

The accepted means it’s been accepted by the irs not approved..if you have dependents/children no one will be getting theirs till march..

No that does not mean it’s been released or approved they send everyone the same email I got the same email and my mom did and my sister the same day..it’s just something they send out turbo tax if you look at the bottom of the email it says you can track it on the irs website..once it says approved there then it’s on the way..it’s way to soon right now lol

Exactly I think turbo tax sent everyone these emails I know a lot of people that got them the same day lol

They sent everyone the same email they do every year it’s just letting you know your done and it’s on its way but if you read at the bottom it says you can track on the irs website..

That 5 days sooner is a scam lol I literally got mine before it’ was approved last year it was in my account and I get mine 5 days early with my bank..they are scamming people out of $26 cause they can’t give it to you until it’s released..I always get mine sooner

It's really distressing to know that TurboTax is giving such a false sense of security with their emails.  I've been a loyal client for years and find this years distorted expected refund date to be the most confusing so far.

I pay $40 for my refund to be received 5 days early

@Kgmac222  I got the same message a couple of days ago. I went to the IRS website (not where’s my refund) and once I was in my account it said my return has NOT been processed. I also paid for the five days early. The first message I got was I should receive my return by 2/13, so 5 days early would be the 7th or 8th…. I suppose…

@BrennaX @The date of the 7th or 8th is the 5 days early from the date turbo tax/irs originally gave me. Now I see only the date it was accepted which says 1/23/25. 

I just went to view my transcript and it shows qthat my return has not been processed. I viewed last years return and it shows all my info from last year. I hope I explained this right. 😊

Am I the only one who got accepted from TurboTax and it’s still not showing up on irs where’s my refund? It keep saying it doesn’t recognize my information when i type everything in!? Someone please help thanks
