I would like to do taxes for 4 family member with the Premier edition and take advantage of the "LIVE" help for ALL of the 4 returns. What is the best way to purchase?

Is it possible to use the download PC version and THEN upgrade for LIVE to get help with any (or all) of the 5 returns? I just don't want to be caught after the fact.

OR do they make me pay for 4 separate LIVE versions? That would seem too costly...

Unfortunately, no.

Yes. You have to use the online version of the program, and each tax return completed with the online version requires it's own separate account. Note that you can create up to 5 accounts per e-mail address. But you would have to pay for each account, and pay for the LIVE version for each account.

No, that is not possible using the TurboTax desktop editions.

If you wanted to use the TurboTax Live editions then you will have to create a separate account with a separate User ID for any of the tax returns you want to complete online using Live help - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/

Ok I think I understand. Can I buy the 5 return download program and for 1 of the returns if I have questions "upgrade" to the Live? 

In other words, I do not know if I need the assistance now, but I may find that out while preparing. Is it possible to upgade or would I have to purchase and re-enter all of the info into an online Live account? I am jus trying to find our my option.

@wcm13 TurboTax Live is available for TurboTax Online customers only. TurboTax Live isn't available in the TurboTax CD/Download software.
