To file for an extension, please see How do I file an IRS extension (Form 4868) in TurboTax Online? In addition, please review Do I need to file an extension for my personal state taxes? to determine if you need to file an extension for your resident state.

I need to file for an extension, please help

Use form 4868 (for Individual Income tax return) to file for an extension. It is really easy. Remember that if you think you'll owe money, you'll need to send that in NOW.
