I need to add a dependent

To enter additional dependents in TurboTax, please take the following steps:

• In your return, select "Personal Info" tab
• On "Personal info summary" screen, click on "Add a dependent" box
• Enter information as requested on each screen for the additional dependent

I didn’t ask for my dependents information during the posses and by the time it was over I realized

If you need to add a dependent for both federal and state, please follow the steps above. If you are claiming an additional dependent for one of the states that allows it, you will add the additional dependent in the state section.
