I'll got my first stimulus check of 1,200.00 and I'll didn't get my second stimulus check at all and I am waiting for my unemployment report on the 1099 G form

Once you receive your 1099-G for unemployment that you received in 2020, you will be able to include that on your tax return.

Unemployment compensation is taxable and must be reported on your income tax return. Taxable benefits include any of the special unemployment compensation authorized under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, which includes PUA benefits.

To enter your 1099-G for Unemployment received or for Family Leave:

  1. Open TurboTax.
  2. Search for 1099-G and select the "Jump to 1099-G".
  3. On the Did You Receive Unemployment or Paid Family Leave Benefits in 2020? screen, answer Yes.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions to enter your 1099-G information.

To include your stimulus payments received on your tax return:

  1. Login your TurboTax.
  2. With your return open, search for the term stimulus.
  3. Select "Jump to stimulus" link.
  4. Under the total first-round stimulus payment enter the amount you received.
  5. Under the total second-round stimulus payment, enter the amount received. If you did not receive your second stimulus, enter zero.
  6. Click on Continue.
  7. The next screen will give you the total credit that is due you, based on your income eligibility.
  8. If you are eligible to receive the rebate, you will notice that your federal refund will increase by that credit, unless you have balance due, then the amount owed will decrease by your credit.
