2019 Turbotax is terrible!
Now it's saying I can't even transmit my federal return because there is an update available for my version. When trying to update, it tells me my software is up to date.

Here is my advice:
Update it a couple more times, exit the program, wait for a few minutes, then re-open your program to try.

I have the same problem. I tried 'Update' for 2 days, still cannot Launch Returns. No help from TurboTax. Worthless. Cannot talk to a real person.
