IF you are having trouble importing it then just enter it manually.  Should be faster and easier to just enter it. Don't enter the bank name, scroll down and click on I'll Type it in myself.  Should only need to enter the bank name and amount.

I see your question about Turbotax Import from Citibank is from one year ago. Well, it looks like in 2023, they have not fixed this issue.

I have previously posted in another thread about how the Import feature failing on Citi.com. I wish someone from Turbotax would send this to their developers for attention.

I wish they would treat this as a serious issue and investigate it.

There seems to be a bug in the Turbotax Import code which cannot handle the newer security flows on citi.com website.

Their Import feature works for all the 4 banks/brokerages which I use EXCEPT Citi.com

The Import connection to Citi.com is either non-functional or the steps to enable this feature is not well described step-by-step.

Here's what I posted previously, where I attempted another procedure:

On your browser, first Iogin to Citi.com. After you've logged in, go to Profiles, click More Settings.

Now you will see a "Security" section the center column. Click on Manage Desktop Apps. Click on the blue button on the bottom of the page, "Allow Access". Click Continue. Now, a "Timer" for 10 minutes will start.

You have to go back to Turbotax Desktop/PC app and try the Import procedure all within the 10 minutes.

I believe this is the correct mechanism Turbotax is using for access into Citi.com accounts.

However, like I said, its still NOT WORKING. Something is still non-functional, but the logic appears to be plausible.

I have successfully Imported 4 other Broker accounts/Vendors but it just doesn't work for Citi.com

Turbotax devs, pls fix this Citi.com Import bug!

Same issue here for the 2023 tax year. Please fix this asap. All the other bank has no issue connecting to it.

Yes, you can enter your interest income in TurboTax Online even if you can't import it. Here's how to do it:

  1. Sign in to TurboTax.
  2. Select Income & Expenses.
  3. Select Pick up where I left off or Reveiw.
  4. Select Start or Update to the right of Investments and Savings (1099-B, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-K, Crypto).
  5. Answer the first question Yes, or if you already have some income here, select Add investment.
  6. Select Enter a different way.
  7. Select the Interest tile and Continue.
  8. Select Type it in myself at the bottom.
  9. Enter the bank's name.
  10. Enter your income in box 1 or 3 as it is on the 1099-INT.
  11. If you have other boxes filled in on your 1099-INT, check the box next to My form has info in other boxes (this is uncommon).
  12. Complete the rest of the form, then Continue.
  13. Answer the remaining questions based on your situation.
