Please see the following TurboTax FAQ on how to e-file you state income tax return after you've already e-filed your federal return: How do I e-file my state after I already filed my federal?
I have the same problem and you reply don't address the issue.
I agree that this reply does not help at all. The problem is that the federal return has been accepted but the program, when I try to refile the state return, keeps telling me to select the federal return to file in addition to the state return. I can't get past this requirement. This is a bug in the program and you must fix it.

This is a known problem. See this TurboTax support FAQ and sign up for updates - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/tax-topics/help/why-am-i-not-able-to-e-file-my-state-return-after-...
If I may clarify: You filed and only the State was rejected you made the correction and can't refile?
Have you tried to go to only the State Taxes tab and proceed from there to refile?
I have seen where some posts say you must wait for the federal to be accepted but I believe this not to be accurate. Please try the State Taxes tab and go through the motions from there and when you get to Filing taxes select only state.
I hope this helps.
Best of luck.
No. This don't help. When I go to state tab and proceed to filing, I get the same error message to 'go back and file federal tax'. This is a bug that turbotax should fix in the software. I signed up in the link above and waiting.
