If you chose direct deposit, the refund normally gets in your account within 3 weeks of the tax return being accepted as opposed to 4-6 weeks when awaiting a check. Keep in mind, this was the norm when everything was normal. The IRS has been very inconsistent the last year or so in their refund timeline.
