how do i deal with leap year? im assuming thats why it says 366 days and wont accept any date i put in. i entered 01/01/2024 to 12/31/2024 and it says 366 days please fix

Try changing the beginning date to 01/02/2024.   Or as a workaround, create two lines - and put the dates for half the year on one line and the other half of the year for the second line.    01/01/2024 - 06/30/2024  and 07/01/2024-12/31/2024
