No. E-filing for 2018 has been permanently closed since October 2019. The only way to file a 2018 tax return is to print it, sign it and mail it.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
You can no longer e-file your 2018 tax return after 10/15/2019.
To file your 2018 tax return, you have to print and mail it to the IRS.
You would never resend a tax return you would have to amend a tax return. The 2018 return you first sent is already filed for 2018. So if you are fixing a return you would have to amend the return which is a different form.
Hope this helps you out!
