Hi I would like to purchase a street legal electric golf cart and get the 7500 electric vehicle credit. How can I verify model eligibility before purchase?

check with your state's auto licensing facility.  most golf carts, even electrically powered ones, are not street legal. the maximum credit for any qualifying 2-wheel vehicle is $2,500
