Hi. I just purchased TT 2016 & 17. Downloaded both to PC. Now I need my info from my TT online account for '17 (the .tax file) so I don't have to be redundant. HOW ?plz

I have circled around and around on my TT account, but it keeps telling me I need to purchase to access or download this info.
Obv, if I have paid for full, deluxe versions for both years, then I should be able to download my info for that year.  Correct?  Thanks for any help.

The requirement to access a prior year online account is to use and pay for one of the 2018 online editions of either Plus, Deluxe, Premier or Self-Employed.  Since you purchased the desktop editions you will need to contact TurboTax support so they can assist you in accessing the 2017 online account and download the 2017 tax data file.
