How can I enter my middle name vice only an initial?

How do I enter my middle name so I don't stir up the IRS with a name change this late in my life? Or do I need to get a different tax application? I have gone by my middle name since I was 5. For over 50 years I've filed my taxes first initial then middle name. Your program does not allow me to enter my middle name - only an initial.

The IRS doesn't care what name you go by  ... you can enter just the middle initial or add the middle name to the first name, or even enter your middle name for the first name  if it makes a difference to your bank .... all the IRS looks at is the first 4 letters of your LAST name, the year of birth & the SS#.  Everything else could be wrong or missing for all they care.
