I was a huge fan of TT but with serious glitches like this wondering of using something else next time onwards.

I've been getting the same issue.
I have been buying TurboTax Deluxe for years and I expect the program to work with the forms I receive to file.
I also count on TT to use information from last year's return when I perform my input. I should not have to manually combine any forms as a workaround.

Yep, I am getting the same error with the NY State taxes.
As you work on the fix, please remember this issue is affecting other states as well (NY in my case).
In all the years I’ve used TT for my CA state taxes, this issue has never popped up. State was always the easiest for TT to do.
Can you give us an update? Have you reproduced the problem? Do you have enough diagnostic info regarding the problem? Have you got a fix that you're testing? Are you confident that you will have release with a fix at the end of next week?
Hello, I followed the link you provided to sign up for updates on the issue, but there is no where to do so on that page. It just has the question listed as resolved, but I’m still receiving the error.
What about New York?
In case anyone else is wondering, there is no way to follow for updates on this topic, even though the TT experts post links to it. I sure can’t find it.
Another NY resident seeing the same error here "your return has a mortgage interest adjustment which will require an update..". Checking for updates daily, and I'm not seeing this error being fixed.
What's the turnaround time on the fix?
Everyone waiting for updates would suggest, move to some other software for filing taxes. You never know when they will have update. Nobody is giving any concrete answers to this problem. If you have not paid to TT you can do it with others. If you have paid like I did you are on your own. All the best.
@Sauspal- I already bought the deluxe version two months ago, and I was literally just a click away from submitting it, until I saw this error. Is it safe to assume TT will fix this problem (since this may be affecting thousands+ NY/CA filers) this month? I've never had this problem with TT until now..
